Visuals are stunning andthe vast, expansive environment while sometimes barren, suggest a living, breathing world creating the perfect sense of verisi-militude.

2.BATMAN ARKHAM CITY: Batman: Arkham City is easily one the best game of 2011. Sweet, improves on most everything from the first game. There is so much to do if you choose. Game play is smooth voice acting is great and the presentation is awesome.The graphics are amazing, and using all the Bat-gadgets rocks. The story has been slightly improved, with several stories tied at once, making the game feel huge.

3.UNCHARTED 3 DRAKE'S DECEPTION: The visuals of this game are breathtaking, the story is fascinating and the gameplay is never-ending. Uncharted 3 is like a fast-paced locomotive that cannot be stopped. With amazing graphics and groundbreaking gameplay Uncharted 3 earns its place among its predecessors.

4.INFAMOUS 2: inFamous 2 is as solid as the original game if not more-so. Combined with the first,  Infamous saga is some of the best action gaming you can experi- ence, and it's exclusive to the PS3. A few small tweaks to the Move controls would go a long way in improving the overall feel of the game but an absolutely fantastic and worthwhile title nonetheless.

5.MASS EFFECT 3: With Mass Effect, Bioware created something really unique. A fascinating universe, that not only rivals Star Wars and Star Trek, but–at least–exceeds those. Mass Effect 3 is the crowning achievement for this trilogy. It looks and plays great, but Mass Effect 3's true strength lies in its ability to tell a deeply-woven story.

6.DEAD SPACE 2: Dead Space was a landmark for the survival- horror genre. Dead Space 2 is absolutely insane. This sequel improves greatly upon the flaws of the first. The environments are varied, the game is longer, and it packs multiplayer to boot. If you even consider yourself a fan of sci-fi or horror, pick up this game.

7.KILLZONE 3: As good as Killzone 2 was, Killzone 3 tops it in every respect. The excellent Play Station Move controls and stereoscopic 3D support certainly don't hurt either. It gets the production values and the intensity just right. If it lacks anything, it would be a bit of character but fans will find it absolutely thrilling while it lasts.

9.RESISTANCE 3: This game is different from R2, definitely, but in a good way. Awesome graphics, the chimera are updated nicely, lighting is beautiful,compelling story, interesting characters. A lot of work went into this game and it shows. Resistance 3 should not be overshadowed by any other game this holiday season as it gives a unique and action-packed adventure from the beginning to end.

10.RAGE: This game features an excellent FPS mechanic, surprisingly solid driving control, competent and diverse foes, unbelievably detailed environments, great audio, and an overall combination of multiple gameplay elements that gels into a cohesive, riveting production. While light RPG elements are present, this is mainly a game for players who love challenging combat experiences.
